The annual Science Congress was successfully held on Saturday 13th September 15, 2025 at Strathmore University, running from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM and bringing together students, judges, and educators to showcase innovative projects and celebrate scientific talent.

The program began with a warm welcome and registration, followed by an opening session that set the tone for an exciting day of exploration and learning. Students presented projects that tackled real-world challenges with remarkable creativity and scientific rigor. Among the themes explored were contaminated water management, environmental pollution, and agricultural sustainability, reflecting the learners’ strong commitment to solving pressing issues affecting communities.

The judging was conducted through a collaboration between academia from the Strathmore School of Engineering and colleagues from industry, ensuring a balanced evaluation that combined technical expertise with practical insights. Projects were assessed on originality, scientific approach, and potential impact, with judges also offering valuable feedback to help students refine and scale their ideas.

One of the most inspiring highlights of the congress was the announcement of the winners: Beacon of Hope School, whose team impressed the judges with their smart two-way emergency traffic light system an innovative solution designed to improve road safety and emergency response efficiency.
