The parental engagement pillar aims to support schools in connecting with parents through various resources such as e-adverts, podcasts, and case studies tailored to different grade levels. A survey was conducted to understand the state of parenting in Kenya, with the goal of creating bite-sized content, through Familia Mtaani (Family in the Streets) for the different challenges faced by parents. Children and parents were the main target population from Nairobi (urban), Kitui (peri-urban) and Uasin Gishu (rural). The total responses were 1200 children, 400 in each county and 600 parents, 200 in each county.
